Chapter 14 - Henrietta Marie!

"The letters on the tee shirts were the same as the chant they began:"

"Henrietta Marie!"
"Henrietta Marie!"
"Henrietta Maire!"

Chas gets pulled deeper into Ford's plan.

Ford whistled and then grinned. ―Holy shit, mates, we‘ve struck gold, we ave‘.‖

What is it about gold that makes men's (and women's) eyes sparkle? Even the mention of it drives the heart rate to higher levels. That's what happens to Ford when he discovers what the Florida Treasury really holds.
Enjoy Chapter 13.

Chapter 12

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem. All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control. I trust you are not in too much distress." (British Airways Captain Moody June 24, 1982)

Now that's what I call composure. The British Airways 747 flew through a cloud of Volcanic dust at 37,000ft , lost all 4 engines and only got them started after gliding to 11,000ft  setting a new glider distance world record (true)

I'd be in Paris but for Icelandic Volcano Dust!
Stuck in Hong Kong...have to go back around the other way now.
Oh, well, could be worse...I could have been stuck in Bombay.

So, here's Chapter 12, finished as I linger here two extra days that I should have been enjoying good wine and good friends in Paris.

"The ‘351’ Cleveland has a distinctive rumble,"

Find out who has this engine in their car in Chapter 12.
You'll be surprised.
Enjoy,
Brian

Back in the saddle again

Thanks all for being so patient. So, I'm sitting in my hotel room in Hong Kong after flying 21 hours to get here. I leave for Paris tomorrow and back home on Thursday. Around the world in 4 days. What a life!
Chapter 11 is on my website, www.writingunderwater.com.
We meet Ford...no, not a truck. But for Boomer a bad first name.
Enjoy,
Brian
